The binding is going on the graduation quilt! I made it last night, so 5/8 yards out.

This past year I've reached for that fabric on more than one occasion to use it for something -- the last time I stapled a note to the selvage so I wouldn't use it and then wonder what happened to the binding fabric for Josh's quilt.

The note is now off the fabric and the remaining 7/8 yards is in the "blue" bin so I can use it for something else.

Good for you for not using that binding fabric for another project. Can't tell you how many times I've done that! About that stashbusting effort . . we may need to talk about which direction you're supposed to be heading! :)
ReplyDeleteI cut the binding strips and put them in a little ziploc bag with a label for what quilt they are for. That way I don't have to worry about accidently using the fabric for something else.
ReplyDeleteI think quilters use a LOT of ziplock bags!
